The packing list is a document that describes the packaging condition and contents of the cargo.

In simple terms, it's a list that states 'what and how much is in which box.'

This document is necessary in the following situations:

- When customs checks the contents during inspection

- When calculating shipping costs (based on weight and volume)

- When the buyer receives and verifies the goods

- When managing storage in a warehouse
