Evaluation Criteria and Scoring
The evaluation for the export voucher selection is out of 100 points.
Export Capability - 30 points
This assesses export performance and growth rate over the past three years, as well as the status of the export organization and personnel.
Business Plan - 40 points (most important)
It examines whether the target market and marketing strategy are specific, whether the voucher utilization plan is appropriate, and whether the expected effects are realistic.
Growth Potential - 20 points
This evaluates the competitiveness of the product and the growth potential of the target market.
Policy Compliance - 10 points + bonus points
New exporting companies receive +5 points, promising industries receive +3 points, and companies contributing to regional balanced development receive +2 points in bonus points.
How to Write an Application That Scores High
First, write your goals specifically.
You shouldn't be vague like 'entering the U.S. market.' Instead, include specific numbers and timelines, such as 'entering Amazon in the U.S. by 2026, with a sales target of $100,000 annually.'
Second, express your budget in numbers.
Instead of saying 'planned marketing activities,' specify it as 'spending 5 million KRW on Google Ads monthly, with an expected CTR of 3%.'
Third, present your quarterly plans.
In Q1, focus on market research and obtaining certifications; in Q2, on discovering buyers and sending samples; in Q3 and Q4, on contract negotiations and the first export. Show it step by step.
Fourth, mention your existing achievements.
Include credible information such as domestic sales performance, awards, and certifications to build trust.
Mistakes to Avoid
Avoid applying on the deadline day.
If too many users access the system at once, it may cause errors. It's safer to complete your application at least 3 days in advance.
Carefully check for document errors.
Make sure the financial statement year is correct, the export performance certificate period is accurate, and that the joint certificate has not expired.
Do not copy and paste your business plan.
Citing other companies' cases verbatim or submitting last year's application without modifications will result in a deduction of points.
Set a realistic budget.
Entering an excessive amount that doesn't match your company's size will decrease your credibility. Provide specific justifications for your estimates.
Post-selection procedures
The selection results will be notified approximately 4 weeks after the application deadline.
If selected:
1. You will receive an email with instructions for signing the agreement.
2. You will complete the online agreement within 5 business days.
3. The voucher will be issued within 3 business days after the agreement.
4. Choose the executing agency and start the service.
